Letter to the Spanish Government/Letter to an Upset Colonist

Directions: On a piece of loose leaf paper, you will write two two-paragraph letters. 
Letter One: From a frustrated colonist to the Spanish government
- Explain why, as a colonist, you are frustrated with the Spanish government’s recent treatment of the colonies 
- Use specific examples from what we discussed in class to support your answer
- Illustrations can be used

Letter Two: From the Spanish government to the frustrated colonist
- Explain why, as the country of Spain, you have not been able to provide the necessary support needed for the colonies
- Use specific examples from what we discussed in class to support your answer
